Complaint: Automated message to my MOBILE PHONE about security systems asks to press 1 to schedule an appointment. I pressed 1 and talked to a man who claimed the company name is Home Security Center in Irvine, CA. Others in a "who called me" site online said they used ADT as the name.
One post on that site gave a name and number to call to get removed from their list. Telecom Management. Like it it our responsibility to call THEM? And anyway, they called MY CELL PHONE. I'm sure this is a telemarketing firm hired by legitimate business to find leads. But they simply ignore the do-not-call registry and cell phone marketing restrictions.
