Complaint: Does anybody know what to do about them? How to get them to stop?

Complaint: I received a call from this number, now 3 times, and it's been to my place of business. They're telling me I signed up from some debt consolidation plan and have been approved. They say I've signed up online and filled out paperwork. First off, I do NOT fill anything out online and I do not use my work number as a contact. He continued to argue with me that I had signed up and I had used my work number. I asked him if he had any other info, which he did not, and I asked if he'd purchased my information from someone, and he said he could not answer that. I asked if I could talk to his supervisor, and he said no. I told him to stop calling my place of business and he actually asked if there was another phone he could call me on. After yelling at him, he finally gave up. I don't know who this person is and I couldn't catch the company he said he was calling for, his accent was too heavy and he mumbled it. Do not pick up these calls!

Complaint: SCAM!!! They call a lot and leave the same message on my voicemail claiming they have my "application signed and approved" for debt consolidation and just need me to verify a couple of things. I never heard of these people and I certainly NEVER filled out any application. That would be ludicrous because I carry absolutely no debt. Sounds like a scam to me.
