The Story: This is the incident that prompted the creation of this web site. This is reposted from another of my sites: www.YouStoleMyTime.com.

Due to actions taken by employees at the telemarketing firm, I was subjected to e-mail spam, hundreds of telemarketing calls, etc. as retribution. This was not a concerted effort on the part of the firm itself - but one or more employees who took it upon themselves to play a prank which ended up being quite costly for their employer. (This is a lesson to employers. You should be make sure that your employees are aware that there can be quite costly results from non-compliance with the law and retributive actions on the part of company employees.) I came to a final monetary settlement with this firm due to the harassing actions by one or more of its employees. I can honestly state my belief that this firm shall never get crosswise with the TCPA again. Despite the high level of annoyance with the email spam and the supplemental telemarketing calls that were a result of this behavior, I consider this matter closed. Thanks to the settlement, AnySoldier.com and PapermillCreekKids.com shall be receiving some hefty donations.
